First AI gut health service in Malaysia launched (MobiHealthNews)

SpaceGut, a new company backed by SOL Partnership, has launched Malaysia’s first AI-powered at-home gut health test service. The service uses a microbiome kit and proprietary AI to analyze samples against a database of over 50,000 microbiome profiles, identifying over 30 health markers and offering personalized health recommendations.

This initiative addresses Malaysia’s rising gut health issues linked to lifestyle diseases like metabolic syndrome, affecting two in five adults. SpaceGut plans to expand into supplements, wellness centers, and nutritionist services, aligning with global trends in gut microbiome-focused healthcare.
