Suki, a leading voice AI technology provider for healthcare, has announced an enhancement for Cerner, building on its previous introduction of bi-directional ambient sync for Epic. This latest version of Suki Assistant enables Cerner users to quickly create clinical documentation with increased efficiency. The tool uses ambient note-taking, dictation, and intuitive commands to produce documentation that integrates seamlessly into the system of record, updating relevant sections automatically.
With the bi-directional sync feature, users can effortlessly transition between Cerner and Suki to initiate and finalize their documentation. This provides flexibility in their workflow. Additionally, users can now reference essential patient chart data directly within Suki, streamlining the documentation process. They can also view their previously signed Cerner notes and carry forward information from these notes in Suki.
Belwadi Srikanth, VP of Product and Design for Suki, emphasized the company’s commitment to reducing the administrative load on clinicians. The enhanced integration with EHRs aims to save clinicians’ time and energy, making documentation more accurate and efficient.
This development positions Suki as the only AI-powered healthcare solution with advanced ambient integration capabilities across multiple EHR systems, including Epic and Athena. Suki Assistant has already demonstrated its ability to cut documentation time per note by 72%. The company has also introduced Suki’s ambient note generation capabilities, which use generative AI to listen to patient-clinician conversations and automatically produce a note.
