Lead researcher Aasma Shaukat, MD, MPH, the Robert M. and Mary H. Glickman Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology and the director of outcomes research in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, in New York City, spoke to Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News about her study presented at the 2023 annual meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology (abstract P0549), which found that clinicians improved when using CADe no matter what time of day, how much experience they had, and whether they worked in academic or community centers.
